Please join us Sunday, December 2nd at 5:30 PM for the Historic City Park Holiday Extravaganza! We will be joining other Neighborhood’s 1st Groups for the Night of Lights to show unity in our community. This year the luminaries will be placed on Virginia Avenue provided by the City of Hagerstown and Historic City Park Neighborhood’s 1st. Starting at 5:30 PM Santa will be touring the neighborhood on a fire truck provided by the Hagerstown Fire Department. Santa’s elves will be providing candy canes for the whole neighborhood! Wave to Santa to receive yours!
Simultaneously the Historic City Park Neighborhood’s 1st will be caroling the neighborhood accompanied by the Hub Opera Ensemble! If you are interested in joining us for caroling please meet at 522 Summit Avenue at 5:30 PM to join in the festivities! This is sure to put the neighborhood in the holiday spirit!
Santa’s Elves
Hagerstown City Park is known as America's 2nd most beautiful park. The first most beautiful being Central Park in New York City. The park was designed by landscape architect George Burnap who helped design some of the landscapes in Central Park.
